Frequently Asked Cleaning Questions

  • How long does it take for carpet to dry?
    Depending on the carpet fiber, our average dry time is 4-6 hours. Some carpet dries in as little as 2 hours!
  • How often should I have my carpet cleaned?
    The Carpet and Rug Institute recommends having your carpet professionally cleaned at least every 12-18 months. If you have kids and/or pets, we personally recommend 6-8 months.
  • How soon can I walk on my carpet after having it cleaned?
    Although you can walk on it directly afterwards, we recommend staying off of it until it is almost dry. Stepping on and off damp carpet can lead to falls and accidents!
  • How can I prepare for my carpet cleaning?
    We ask that you vacuum to help remove any loose soil/pet hair. This will ensure that our time is spent cleaning the embedded dirt and grime. Pick up any loose objects, clothes, toys, ect.. We will be happy to maneuver small furniture while cleaning to access hidden areas.
  • Do you move furniture?
    We move small furniture and tables. We do not move large items such as dressers, tvs, or couches. If you would like those cleaned under, we ask that you remove those before we arrive.
  • What type of payments do you accept?
    We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, Venmo, PayPal, and Apple Cash. We do apply a 3% service charge to cards, Venmo, and PayPal.
  • How much does it cos to have my carpet/upholstery cleaned?
    No two carpet cleaning services are the same. Our customers have varying needs when it comes to cleaning. Please give us a call so we can talk about your specific cleaning needs, and we will tailor a plan and estimate specifically for you.
  • Do you guarantee removal or spots or stains?
    We cannot guarantee all spots or stains will be removed. There are different substances that discolor or dye fibers permanently. During our walk through, we will try to point out and determine potential areas that might be permanent stains rather than removable spots.
  • I have had my carpet cleaned, but some spots reappeared. Why is this?
    Wicking is when a substance in the backing of the carpet reappears in the top of the fibers when drying. Although this is not common, it does happen. If this happens, please contact us within 3 days.
  • When you clean my carpet, does the padding or sub-floor get wet?
    No. Our truck-mount's water pressure and suction are set at specific levels to ensure that water will not penetrate the carpet backing.
  • Can both my area rug and the carpet underneath it be cleaned in the same day?
    Absolutely. However, the area rug cannot dry over the wet carpet. We would need somewhere to drape the area rug or a dry place to lay it flat until the carpet is dry.
